PAC-MAN x RUBIK’S : De ultieme pop culture mashup uit de jaren '80 - samenwerking aangekondigd

Met een uitgebreid aantal designs die fans zal aanspreken, richt PAC-MAN x Rubik’s stijlgids zich tot een uniseks publiek tieners en jongvolwassenen. De samenwerking vol nostalgie uit de jaren '80 schotelt retro-geïnspireerde designs voor, voorzien van hedendaagse elementen als hashtag slogans. Er is zelfs een limited edition PAC-MAN branded Rubik's Cube in productie, gepland voor een release in 2017.
 
De deal werd op poten gezet tussen licentiehouders The Smiley Company, in naam van Rubik's Brand Limited, en BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment, eigenaar van PAC-MAN. Beide partijen waren op zoek naar innovatie op vlak van kledij, accessoires, geschenken en meer.

PAC-MAN and Rubik's are two of the biggest pop culture icons of the 80's. The Smiley studio has created a very cool style guide based on the current trend for retro games merchandising. I am sure the products from this unique collaboration will be hits and are going to become collectors with all generations of geeks.
